ABOUT MANGO
Mango are an LGBT pop/funk band based in Surrey, consisting of lead singer Chloe Payne, drummer Elena Costa and bassist Brodie McBride
Since forming in 2019 Mango have been working hard on song-writing and in the studio to create a repertoire of catchy tracks. Inspired by the likes of Bruno Mars, Lizzo, and Jamiroquai, their upbeat and energetic set is guarenteed to get a crowd moving!
Their tracks have been featured on many radio stations, including the BBC where they were featured as 'track of the day'. The band have performed across the South including London based venues, and Guildford's G Live!
After meeting at uni Chloe and Elena quickly started working on music with various different guitarists and bassists, to keep a fresh sound on each track. After the amazing work on the track 'Mistakes' by session bassist Brodie McBride, Mango decided to welcome her to the official line up in August 2020. Mango are currently working with session guitarist Sam Canfield who is smashing it in recording sessions and live work!
Chloe and Elena are both part of the LGBT community, so the band is always on the lookout to perform at pride festivals across the country. They're also both vegan so love to support these festivals too!
